Barrow, Alaska is the northern most town in the United States. There are no roads leading to Barrow. Access to the town is by boat or plane. Designing a building above the Arctic Circle requires a primary focus on building envelope in response to the extreme climate conditions. The unique conditions in Barrow called for a building that satisfies the extreme site conditions and allows the users to find themselves in an enjoyable and innovative environment.
